We believe STEM should be unforgettable
Every student deserves the chance to experience the wonder of space up close.
Our goal isn’t just to spark curiosity about space—it’s to open students’ eyes to the joy of learning itself, and to keep them asking questions about the world (and the universe) around them.
Galaxy on the Go was founded by Scott Green — a lifelong space enthusiast, educator, and assembly presenter — on the idea that learning should be fun, memorable, and shared.
Scott Green
In 1991, Scott successfully petitioned his first-grade teacher to do a unit on the solar system. When she forgot her book one day, he stood up and taught the class about Neptune. He’s been sharing knowledge ever since.
Scott became a full-time assembly presenter in 2009 — the same year he graduated law school cum laude and passed the Illinois bar. He’s never practiced law, choosing instead to bring joy and learning to students.
A lifelong learner and trivia buff, he captained the University of Illinois team at the 2006 and 2007 College Bowl national championships and has appeared on five game shows, including a $56,600 win on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? He lives in North Center with his family.

Meg Grunewald
Children light up when Meg walks into the room. She keeps young audiences engaged and focused while making sure every child feels included and the mood stays light.
Years of teaching improv to children means she builds confidence and creativity through laughter — which is also why she’s trusted for live events and industrial video by clients including TXMD, Thermo Fisher, and AstraZeneca.
Meg is a Chicago-based actor and performer trained at The Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago, and The Annoyance Theatre, and she teaches and performs regularly at ComedySportz Chicago.

A team you can count on
Our team is made up of educators and performers who know how to hold the attention of students at every grade level. All Galaxy on the Go presenters are trained on our Starry Night software and our age-specific lesson plans, and all of them pass a background check.
We teach, we explain, and we adapt to the group in front of us.
We do fun for a living
Galaxy on the Go is part of Green Scooter, the team behind Eureka Mini Golf—a first-of-its-kind STEM experience—and Engineering the Impossible. Together with our other brands, we create unforgettable experiences for children.
