Setup, teardown, equipment, and a live presenter are included. No per-student fees.
School and camp rates above apply to weekday daytime visits. Library pricing applies to weekend visits as described above. For locations more than 50 miles from Chicago, pricing may be adjusted depending on travel requirements. Evening and special events are quoted individually.
Included in Every Visit
The dome and the tech
A 20-foot-wide walk-in dome, 360° hi-def digital projector, and professional planetarium software. We bring it, run it, and take it home.
A live presenter
Trained, background-checked, and experienced with children—leading live, interactive presentations.
The paperwork
W-9 and certificate of insurance on request. We’ll add your organization as an additional insured at no cost, and we’re an approved CPS vendor.
Purchase orders, checks, and no drama
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. We’re an approved CPS vendor and work with POs from districts of every size. We prefer a check in advance where possible, but we’re flexible on payment structure.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. For your convenience, we accept payment by credit card.
Can we be added to your insurance policy?
Yes. We are fully insured with commercial general liability coverage, and we can add your organization as an additional insured for no additional cost.
Is there a discount for multiple schools in our district?
Usually, yes. Email hello@galaxyonthego.com with what you’re thinking and we’ll put together a number.
What if we need to reschedule?
We’ll be happy to accommodate a new date, schedule permitting. Please give us as much advance notice as possible.
